RoboSentry® Access Module

After 15 years of field trials on "other" operating systems, the RoboSentry Access Module (RSAM-1000) has evolved to fill any need in the residential, commercial, industrial, or homeland security space. Wiegand, MagStripe, Bar Code, F/2F, Proximity, RF-ID, SmartCard, Biometric, and other reader technologies and formats are handled with a single device. All access decisions are made at the door making the RSAM extremely fault tolerant and highly responsive. Yet, the RSAM-1000 is flexible enough to be linked with a server or up to 32 other modules for complete real-time interaction. On-board memory stores history transactions for later retrieval. RoboSentry Concept

Distributed Intelligence. The idea is that each door, gate, elevator, or other security checkpoint should be controlled by its own local, autonomous processor. The decisions are made at the checkpoint as opposed to a central server. Total fault tolerance and reliability. Any type of card, badge, tag, or credential can be read by the RSAM-1000. Hundreds of Wiegand, Proximity, MagStripe, Bar Code, Biometric, RF-ID, or SmartCard formats can be accommodated.
